1. Survey. 2. The topic of drinking water quality is one of the major
Problems treated in the periodical “Adevarul” (Truth).In winter 2002-2003 there were depicted 70 cases of hepatitis among children. The cause – the bad quality of drinking water. We published a series of materials signed by doctors so the readers could find the truth concerning the water they drink.
The last year Government of Moldova prepared a document “Concerning water supply of localities in Republic of Moldova between 2002-2006”
but the decision lacks a financial support and remained only on paper. In such a situation only the support of international financial organisations can be helpful.
Presently we prepare some projects concerning supplying the “Ion Inculet” lyceum with drinking water – in order to avoid the illness of “dirty hands” (hepatitis).

Please, describe briefly how you are going to participate in the project activities (see attached Second announcement) and which of your implemented projects you are going to present during the Parliament itself:

1. We are preparing a speech on the topic “The importance of a non-governmental organization in solving the water supply problem in Vorniceni, Moldova”.
2. Finding new foreign partners in order to organize a Regional Water Forum.
3. We will prepare articles with pictures from European Youth Water Parliament for “Adevarul” periodical.
