Since 1997 MAMA-86 is running the “Drinking water in Ukraine” campaign,
independent research of the water quality, public polls, informing and education activity , Water Day actions ( since 2000 year), since May 1999 pilot projects implementation: first in town Tatarbunary, second – rehabilitation of city infectious disease hospital in Sevastopol (1999-2001), pilots program on technical solutions for improvement citizen’s access to safe drinking water in rural and urban areas of Ukraine (since 2001); and WASH campaign (lessons at school in March 2003, children competitions on Ukrainian version of WASH campaign logo, name and poster).

Please, describe briefly how you are going to participate in the project activities (see attached Second announcement) and which of your implemented projects you are going to present during the Parliament itself:

Involve and support 3 delegates – young volunteers of MAMA-86 to take part in the preparation and during the Youth Water Parliament in Bulgaria

Please, describe briefly how you are going to disseminate the results of the Parliament:

Disseminate among the MAMA-86 network. As each of “MAMA-86” works with the school children and students it will be disseminated broadly at least in 11 cities and towns of Ukraine. We will use our web site and newsletters to spread the results and information about this event. We hope to support and help to implement the projects, which proposed by our parliamentarians for WASH activity in future.

Please, describe briefly how you are going to participate in the project activities (see attached Second announcement) and which of your implemented projects you are going to present during the Parliament itself:

Water is the source and main element of the life. But due to the pollution it is also the factor of transmission and spreading of different infection diseases. Use of the water from water pipes and wells is also the factor of the risk. Given project is planning to be realized with the aim of founding of the sources of the water pollution, realization of the inventory of the sanitary state of the nature sources and wells in Yaremche town and its neighborhoods.

Please, describe briefly how you are going to disseminate the results of the Parliament:

The results of the Parliament I shall write in newspaper. I shall spek about this Parliament all my friends at school and in my native town.

Taken experience will be spread among the pupils of the schools of Yaremche and participants of the children summer camps from different regions of Ukraine.

The Acquaintance with work organization foreign countries.
The Adjustments contact with youth organization. We shall present the project "Merry Nygik". The Purpose: Education sanitary-hygenic culture amongst children, deepenning of their knowledges on this problem, interest growing generations to decision of the problems of own health.
