Summary of water and sanitation major activities or campaigns of the organization since 2000:

1.During the educational process we had a lot of participators, the most of them were citizens of the nearby towns in the area. One of the main topics of this lessons were protection, saving of water sources. Idea of the project below has been started on this educational lessons.
2.In 2003 CEE TZ has started with the project “Citizens and Local Communities for unpolluted water” in local community Prokosovici, borough Lukavac. Tuzla`s area has had problem with potable water for more then 15 years. So for the example, in the center of Tuzla, potable water is available only twice a day, so its citizens has permanent problem with the water supplies.
One of the possibilities of solving this problem is using hydro accumulation of Modrac lake (local artificial lake), what should be water reservoir for boroughs Tuzla, Lukavac, Zivinice. But the degree of pollution of this lake is high because of the waste of its basin what is consequence of less cleaner for waste waters then it is necessary (in industry, households and many private companies). So the quality of this water is not good enough for everyday use and putting waste in local water current makes pollution of accumulation higher and harder to solve.

Please, describe briefly how you are going to participate in the project activities (see attached Second announcement) and which of your implemented projects you are going to present during the Parliament itself:

Because of the permanent problem with potable water in our area and pollution of Modrac lake as potential hydro reservoir, presenters of CEE TZ has started with this project and will try to present it during the Parliament. The project is realized with concrete actions, education and theme workshops of local people. CEE TZ paid attention on education about importance of water sources, possibilities of savings, using of rainwater and enriching subterranean waters.
This project included continuous collecting old motor oil and secondary raw material.
Prokosovici would be example for other LC and boroughs in a way of showing that concrete actions are possible and effectable, and the result is Modrac lake as a reservoir of potable water.

Please, provide details of your possible way of travel to Bulgaria (means of transportation, price per person, town of entrance in Bulgaria; dates of travel – you are encouraged to arrive Sep. 1 and to leave Sep. 7):

Only way of transportation is by plane from capital, Sarajevo across Budapest to Sophia.
Price per person is cca 450 € with Hungarian agency “Malev”. The price includes costs for visa, plane tickets and airport taxis. The date of traveling is August, 31st.

Please, describe briefly how you are going to disseminate the results of the Parliament:

The Parliament in Bulgaria for CEE TZ would be new experience that will be useful for further work and acting of center and its members. Contacts that will be made will help us to make connections with other international groups.
This will be motivation for new educational and practical process for local people and government that will help our community.
