Youth Municipal Council is an organization which has been formed by the young people’s democratic elections in the town of Stara Zagora.This organization present the young people in the region.It protects and provides the opportunity of all of them to participate actively in the process of taking decisions and solving the problems in their lives.

Summary of water and sanitation major activities or campaigns of the organization since 2000:

Youth Municipal Council has been working on improving the conditions for young people in schools since 2002. We look at the toilets are a very important part of our schools. The WASH School project we implement at the moment is the first activity of our organization in the sanitation sector.

Please, describe briefly how you are going to participate in the project activities (see attached Second announcement) and which of your implemented projects you are going to present during the Parliament itself:

The Youth Municipal Council is going to participate in the project activities as a partner launching a local WASH SCHOOL campaign in the Oblast of Stara Zagora. We are presenting a video about the current condition of toilets in the schools of Stara Zagora.

Please, describe briefly how you are going to disseminate the results of the Parliament:

We are going to disseminate the results presenting them to our partners and the acting Municipal Council of Stara Zagora, Social Endowing Fond – Stara Zagora, etc., and work for bettering of school toilets in our city and in Bulgaria.
