Organization’s mission / school specificity:

High School of Mathematics “Baba Tonka” was founded about 140 years ago. It succeeded the Girl’s High School in Ruse. Since 1970 it has been a specialized school with Mathematics, Computer Science and Biology as main subjects. English is intensively tought.

1. Focus on Water, an American project (2000);
2. Third European Youth Congress for Water SPLASH (22-29.03.2003) in Geel, Belgium – a meeting of 44 delegations from 27 countries consisting of dedicated youngsters working on water-related projects.

We are going to present our project “The Water Basins of My Native Town”

Please, describe briefly how you are going to disseminate the results of the Parliament:

Through presentations within the Eco Club in our school; hopefully extending the activities in the future and involving many more young people in future water-related projects and making people aware of the democratic possibilities for sustainable water management.
